2nd shift Press Operator - Job Description

Summary

Press Operator should be able to perform assigned operation of presses to ensure part is produced to specifications. Must be willing to learn auxiliary equipment and the use of basic measuring equipment

**Up to $500 sign on bonus, eligible after 90 days of employment

Covid safety protocols. Daily temperature checks, face mask required, contact tracing when necessary. Daily disinfections of highly touched surfaces. Weekly Plant wide disinfecting fogging.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to review work instructions
• Check and provide all process components like lubricants and packaging, etc.
• Visually inspect production for burrs, scrapes, rust and other defects.
• Identify and locate proper material thickness and gauge.
• Check production against sample and/or print using basic measuring equipment like gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Achieve Production Schedules
• Comply with 5s

Qualifications

• No experience required we are willing to train!
• Pay rates depend on experience or prior skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
