Do you have a high mechanical/technical aptitude? Do you have experience in machine building, automotive/diesel, maintenance mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic?

Responsibilities

  • Utilize 2D and 3D drawings to assemble mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies using hand and power tools.
  • Configure electronic devices like photo eyes, pressure/flow sensors, and displays.
  • Refine parameters on motion controls, including drives, to optimize machine performance.
  • Prepare equipment for processing by performing alignments, testing and integrity checks and motion test of assemblies
  • Perform diagnostic adjustments and troubleshooting throughout the equipment assembly process.
  • Support team members in ensuring successful acceptance tests (Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)and Site Acceptance Tests SAT)
  • Disassemble, diagnose service and repair assemblies as needed and completing shop assignments to meet performance standards and fulfill customer service requests.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Control and Engineering teams to recognize and execute product enhancements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • High School diploma
  • 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment, machine building experience a plus
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude - additional education certification a plus
  • Ability to proficiently use 2D and 3D drawings to build assemblies
  • Automotive / Diesel / Maintenance Mechanic experience a plus
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, machine setup and processing knowledge preferred

Physical Demands

  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs. with assistance
  • Job requires the ability to walk, bend, squat, sit, kneel and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust and focus
  • Ability to move or transfer products with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand

Travel

  • Position requires up to 25% travel, primarily international with trip durations typically ranging from 1 to 3 weeks. Capable of obtaining a passport and willingness to fulfill all health requirements mandated by airlines and specific entry and exit regulations of visited countries.
