Business Support Coordinator - Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department
- Assist with new employee tours and onboarding processes
- Open and distribute mail to the correct departments or individuals
- Follow project plans and provide support to various departments as needed
- Communicate effectively across departments and adjust to shifting priorities
- Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming front office environment
- Enter data and support daily tasks within Global Shop Solutions (ERP), including:
- Vendor invoicing, purchase orders, and payment processing
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
- Managing remote bank deposits, customer invoicing, and payment posting
- Reconciling vendor statements and credit card transactions
- Monitoring accounts receivable aging and supporting follow-up
- Maintaining financial records and assisting with credit applications
Requirements
- 1+ year of administrative, office support, or manufacturing office experience preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and a proactive problem-solver
- Comfortable using ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus)
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented personality

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, stand, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel parts. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Ear protection may be required for certain processes. Closed-toed shoes and eye protection are required for all activity on the shop floor.
