Summary

Light machining and packaging of axles for Professional Drag Racing and NASCAR teams

Duties

• Package axles
• Use a hydraulic press to plug axles
• Use a chop saw to cut axles
• Turn axles with a lathe
• Assemble other parts as needed
• Stock and organize axles
• Keep the workplace clean and organized
• Perform other duties given by the Supervisor

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude
• Have basic measuring skills
• Be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Strong work ethic and highly motivated
• Meticulous attention to detail and well organized
• Strong communication skills in English
• Enjoy being part of a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced constantly-changing environment with tight deadlines and occasional long hours
